Head Coach, Timothy McMahon, is from Lake County, Ohio and is a graduate of Eastlake North High School and the University of Toledo. As his full time profession, Coach McMahon works in the real estate business and currently owns and operates PWG Real Estate LLC.  Coach McMahon brings fifteen years of coaching experience including time spent as the varsity boys baseball head coach at Eastlake North, the assistant girls head coach at Willoughby South High School, and is entering his sixth season as the varsity girls basketball head coach at Laurel School. 

Coach McMahon has amassed a record of 99-24, including four straight trips to the District playoffs and three straight trips to the District Championship. His staff set the record for most wins in a season at Laurel School with 21 wins in 2016-2017, breaking their own mark with a 22 win campaign in 2017-2018. 

Under Coach McMahon’s leadership, Laurel School has been in the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Top 25 for five consecutive years, spending the last three seasons with top ten rankings.  Laurel School has also enjoyed multiple Associated Press State Rankings for the basketball program including three consecutive years on the list, with their highest mark coming at #5 in the State in 2017-2018.  Laurel basketball now has one of the strongest schedules in the state of Ohio. For the 2019-2020 season, Laurel School accepted their third consecutive invitation to the Classic in the Country, the premier high school girls basketball event in the Midwest.
